I am not happy with Membership business if five group of people start this business then EV owner have to have 5 membership to charge one car that would be huge money this will make cheaper to use gasoline powered vehicle rather than EV you may comment your idea

chargeNET fast charging now available at Maradana.
chargeNET eStation fast charger, now open for public.

Very expensive with member ship and cost per unit

Note this membership is for Level II charger or Plug share But no Idea about the DC charging stations
monthly membership minimum 500/= premium no concession
Premium membership 2500/= per month

For Level 2 Chargers they charge 125 for members with 3.6KW on board charger EVs 6.6KW on board EVs have to pay 250 Rs per hour.

DC charging prices

This is from the net if any change in chargers let me know I will update accordingly
Members Rs 750 for half an hour charge.
Non Members Rs 1000/= for half an hour charge.

They unofficially mention that for 750/= you get 10kw per hour that is 75 per KW. Non members 100 per kW

40 minutes for full charge. this full I guess 80% not 100% as DC chargers usually stop at 80% charge

I was told the charges as below

30min Rs. 500
1 hour Rs. 1,000 for members

30min Rs. 750
1 hour Rs. 1,500 for non members.

I do agree that paying Rs. 75 is high as far as the Electricity Cost goes, but those who provide a 15Amp plug base do charge Rs. 70 per unit. At the same time Capital Investment on Equipment such as the DC fast charger remains high.

The solution will have to come from the Government/CEB, and not from the Businessman/Entrepreneurs who will look at a different business perspective, Market Economy of demand & supply

Chargenet has set up a rapid charging center at Kandy. Located at Dangolla junction 'Car clean Park' service station (behind Cargils food city). I called them ( 0776720175 ) . They are open 8 a.m - 8 p.m. A lady answered the phone. She was not quite precise about the charges. For 15 minutes Rs 200 costs, she said. But the meter will indicate the charge depending on the units that you have utilized.

By now there are approximately 45 fast charging stations in Sri Lanka all over the island. :D

I will try to put all in one sheet.
